Henry Hutchison

Henry Hutchison started playing Rugby with a background in 15s, first playing for Lindfield Rugby Club.

He burst onto the Rugby Sevens scene at an early age, debuting in Cape Town, 2015.

He overcame an ACL injury in 2023 to make a third Olympic Games in Paris and was a standout performer in the team.

Hutchison was named captain ahead of the 2024/2025 season following the retirement of Nick Malouf.

He and Maurice Longbottom are the most experienced players in the squad.
