Maddison Levi is an explosive try-scorer from the Gold Coast who made her Sevens debut at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021.

Levi grew up a talented dancer before starting a junior career in rugby.

She played AFLW for the Gold Coast Suns briefly until moving back to 7s during her schooling at Miami State High School. She then played for Bond University before transitioning into the Aussie 7s program full-time.

Levi crossed for her 100th try in just her 15th event during the 2022/2023 season of the SVNS world series.

In the 2023/2024 season, Levi broke the record for most tries scored by a female in a season with 69.

She claimed Player of the Final honours at the Madrid SVNS Grand Final and notched her 150th career try during the tournament – now only second behind Charlotte Caslick in the all-time list for the Australians.

Levi backed up her efforts with a record-breaking 14 tries at the Paris Olympics in 2024, later claiming World Rugby's Women's Sevens player of the year award in Monaco.

Maddison's sister, Teagan Levi, is also part of the Aussie 7s Women's squad.
