Hayden Sargeant

Hayden Sargeant was considered a late bloomer coming into the 7s program after making his debut aged 24 in Los Angeles in 2023.

A product of the Gold Coast, Sargeant came through the Melbourne Rebels system in 15s and was a Junior Wallaby as a teenager.

He switched to Rugby Sevens following the COVID-19 pandemic and has become a handy squad member over the past 18 months

Sargeant was rewarded with Olympic selection for Paris in 2024. Away from Rugby, he has a degree in Construction Management.
