Ethan McFarland

Ethan McFarland joins the Aussie 7s program for the 2025/2026 season after impressive performances during the pre-season combines and trials in New Zealand.

McFarland's father is Samoan, while his mother is Australian. His father's cousin is Samoa Rugby captain Theodore McFarland.

The Brisbane-born centre started playing rugby when he was nine for Pine Rivers Rugby Club before joining GPS Rugby.

McFarland represented Queensland in state volleyball while he is studying to be an electrician.

He looks up to former NBA legend Michael Jordan and UFC fighter Conor McGregor.
