Dominique Du Toit is one of the longest-serving Australian players in women's rugby 7s. Born in Zimbabwe, her family moved to Toowoomba, where Du Toit played touch football and competed in athletics growing up.

In her final two years of school she transitioned to rugby 7s after learning the contact side of sport.

After making her Australian debut in 2016, Du Toit was a shadow player at the successful Rio Olympics, before eventually becoming an Olympian at the postponed Games in Tokyo.

Off the field, Du Toit is a notable emerging commentator in the sport. She announced her intention to retire following the Paris Olympics.
