Australia Women's Sevens stars Faith Nathan, Heidi Dennis, Bienne Terita and Ruby Nicholas have re-signed with Rugby Australia through to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
The quartet have extended their contracts for another two seasons each, taking them through to the national side’s fourth Olympic Games campaign.
Their retentions follow the contract extensions of Maddison Levi and Teagan Levi through to the LA Games in 2028 and coincides with 200 days to go until Perth Sevens returning at HBF Park in February.
Nathan made her Australia Sevens debut in 2019, recently notching her 200th game and passing the 150th try milestone on the HSBC SVNS World Series circuit.
The 25-year-old will eye a third Olympics tilt after being part of campaigns in Tokyo (2021) and Paris in 2024. Olympics debut in Tokyo and a second Olympic Games in 2024.
Dennis, 21, enjoyed a breakout season in gold, scoring 29 tries in just her second campaign with the squad as she eyes a maiden Olympics debut in Los Angeles.
Terita and Nicholas featured for the Women’s squad throughout the 2025-2026 season with Terita making a successful return from long-term injury.
Director of Women’s High Performance Tim Walsh said: “Faith is one of our greatest try-scorers, hardest-working and consistent players who brings winning experience having recently notched 40 caps.
“Heidi has developed incredibly well in the past 18 months to become one of our most potent attacking weapons. She possesses speed, power, skill, and a physical presence.
“Bienne has shown tremendous resilience to get back from injury this year and the energetic Ruby is ever-reliable with more opportunities for her on the horizon.
“Overall we’re in a stronger position than we were at this stage leading into the Paris Olympic cycle.
“Maturity and winning when it matters was the mantra for the vintage of 2026. We’ve worked hard in developing and maturing our squad while developing the next generation of 'Top Gun' graduates.”
Nathan, Nicholas and Terita have all put their hand up for the Ultimate Sevens competition in Europe in September while Dennis is currently enjoying an off-season stint in Japan.
All players are set to return to the Australian Sevens program in October to begin pre-season training ahead of the Olympic-qualifying season in 2026-2027.
