The Women's team went down in the Final to New Zealand after defeating Canada in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the unchanged Men's side finished ninth after a defeat to South Africa.

Follow a recap of all the action, game by game below:
Australia Women 7 v New Zealand Women 31 - Final

New Zealand have outclassed Australia for a 31-7 win in the Final.

Michaela Brake crossed for a double as the Kiwis came out firing from the first whistle.

The Australians held on in the first half, with Maddison Levi's try keeping the margin to 12-7 at half-time.

But the Black Ferns Sevens' experience shone through as they closed out the win.

Australia Men 7 def by South Africa 26 - 9th Place Final

Australia has finished tenth in Singapore after a 26-7 defeat to South Africa.

The Aussies were no match for the fourth-ranked Blitzboks as Tristan Leyds crossed for the opening two tries.

The South Africans took a 19-0 lead into the break before extending in the second half through Selvyn Davids.

Josh Turner managed a consolation try late in the game as the Aussies concluded a tough weekend in Singapore.

Australia Women 45 v Canada Women 7 - Semi Final

Australia will play New Zealand in the Singapore Final after a comprehensive 45-7 win over Canada.

Maddison Levi picked up where she left off after crossing a first half double, bringing up 50 tries for the World Series.

But the story was young gun Mackenzie Davis, continuing her breakout tournament with a hat-trick.

Davis lit up the Canadian defence to make it five tries in two games, sealing Australia's spot in the Final.

Australia Men 28 v France Men 5 - 9th Place Semi Final

Australia have bounced back in style with a 28-5 win over France to advance to the ninth place Final.

Maurice Longbottom thrived in a rare start, taking over the captaincy and the opening try.

The Aussies pushed for their second and nearly produced the goods from a tap play, dropping it inches before the line as the French punished them on the counter attack.

Longbottom restored Australia’s lead with a smart grubber for Hadley Tonga to score his second SVNS try.

Aden Ekanayake extended the lead after the break before Josh Turner scored on the siren to seal the win.

Australia Men 7 v Spain Men 28

Australia will battle for ninth after a 28-7 defeat to Spain.

Spain punished the Aussies for an early mistake as they scored the opener, with Henry Paterson responding for Australia shortly afterwards.

The teams went into the break 7-all as Australia pushed for quick points to keep their slim chances of semi-finals qualification alive.

In the end, Spain wore down the Aussies, with Pol Pla crossing twice in the last two minutes to seal the win

Australia Women 36 v Japan Women 0

Maddison Levi has etched herself in history with her 200th try on the World Series in a 36-0 win over Japan.

Levi got a double in the first half to become the youngest and fastest player to bring up the mark.

Bienne Terita celebrated her return to the World Series with her own double as the Aussies took a 22-0 lead into the break.

Mackenzie Davis sealed their place in the semi-finals with a double before Ruby Nicholas iced the game.

Australia Men 5 v Uruguay Men 28

Uruguay have defeated Australia for the first time ever after a 28-5 victory.

A perfect set piece got Australia firing as Matt Gonzalez started and finished the play for the opener.

However, Uruguay hit back straight afterwards before scoring on half-time for a 14-5 lead heading into the break.

The Uruguayans picked up where they left off as Juan Gonzalez got his second, before they sealed the win with another try in the final two minutes.

Australia Women 31 v Spain Women 0

Australia have started Singapore with a 31-0 whitewash of Spain.

Captain Tia Hinds celebrated her new gig with the opener before setting up Maddison Levi for her 45th try of the season.

Kiiahla Duff added to the dominant first half after an excellent Bridget Clark break for a 19-0 lead.

Levi added her second as she nears the 200 try mark, just two away, as the Aussies cruised away with the win sealed by a Ruby Nicholas try.
